In April of 2004, we traveled with the Arkansas National Guard into Baghdad Iraq. What was meant to be a peace and stability mission quickly turned into something very different, as the Iraqi insurgency began to organize and pick up steam. For over a year we split our time between the troops in Iraq and their families left behind back in Arkansas. The result was, Off to War, a 10 part television series for the Discovery Times Channel.
