We want to thank HBO for putting on another great event for the The New York Premiere of Little Rock Central: 50 Years Later. Sheila Nevins took a chance on us years ago with a film called Dope Sick Love, and now again with a film about a famous high school in Arkansas. Like so many other documentary filmmakers, we really do appreciate the world Sheila has opened up for us. Where would documentary film in America be without her.

So many people at HBO poured their hearts into this film, above and beyond what their job titles probably demanded. Our supervising producer, Lisa Heller, is smart and talented beyond words and we can't wait to work with her again. The event was made all the more important in that MinniJean Brown, one of the original Little Rock Nine, who braved angry and violent white mobs in 1957, to integrate Central High School, made the trip to New York for the screening, and to support the film. If you get a chance, watch, rent or buy the film, and let us know what you think.
