In 2003, we went to Bolivia with Jon Alpert of DCTV in New York, to make a film for PBS about the rise of the indigenous political left in Bolivia. This photo was taken on the Amazon river where we traveled deep into the rain forest in order to film some of the tribes who live there and are supporting the new indigenous leaders.
