
Last summer the Renaud Brothers produced, filmed and edited a one hour NBC Dateline special on youth violence in Chicago, Illinois. The Renauds embedded with the city’s toughest gangs, and interviewed the city officials responsible for investigating the growing problem of youth violence. The correspondent on the project was Lester Holt. After the show aired the organizations featured in the film received help and assistance from viewers all over the country. After viewers saw Danny in our story, a teenager paralazyed from a gunshot wound, the University of Chicago stepped up and bought him a badly needed wheelchair ramp for his home. The Renaud’s have produced a new update for the show which will air in its entirety this Sunday, June 26th at 7 p.m. Eastern, 6 p.m. Central.
